Visit of St Kilian
It is with great joy we announce the visit of St Kilian and his fellow martyrs, Colonat and Totnan to Mullagh, the birthplace of Killian
Arrangements are:
Thursday October 3rd – Relics arrive at St Kilian’s Well, procession to St Kilian’s Church including German pilgrims, prayer service and an all night vigil
Friday October 4th – Dawn Mass at 7:00 am, relics in church all day for all visitors veneration, confirmation schools in the diocese to visit. Concert with German and local musicians at 8pm in St Kilian’s Church
Saturday October 5th – 10:30 Procession through village followed by High Mass with dignitaries present, transfer of relics to Cavan Cathedral via Cross
Sunday October 6th – Mass in Cavan Cathedral. Transfer of relics to Germany
